A little “Cliché” but we are in the fulfillment business and I will stop at nothing to make sure the project is on track and the clients feel fulfilled. I love what I do so that helps (I don’t just do this to pay the bills), I am motivated by the people I work with, work for and the client partners I support directly and indirectly. I have a well-rounded back ground in management, operations and sales therefore I can talk the talk all day but still actually have the minerals to get stuff done.
An Englishman by birth I arrived on these prosperous shores via a couple of years living in Spain almost 11 years ago. I recall being shocked that that my accent raised my perceived IQ significantly. More shocking was that I could get paid to be the center of attention and TALK to people. Truth be told I was always told that I had been blessed with the gift of the gab. I started out as a young Richard Branson wannabe brokering deals for boats and yachts. A crazy fun job with a million stories attached. I moved into the action sports world and for over a decade had great success managing multi- national brands and salesforces globally. This led me from my native England to the USA (specifically Florida), where I spent 4 years working in the same industry before getting too old to hang. I moved to Milwaukee with my family in fall 2010 and wanted an industry to fall in love with again. I had always recruited my own teams and decided recruiting was for me. I became the business development manager (although I wore recruiting and operational hats most of the time) for the Gogolak Group and was able to put my acquired sales manager skills to good use hiring and managing for some household Milwaukee institutions. I fell in love with the diverse elements to the staffing and recruiting industry and was extremely excited to be given the opportunity to advance my career and join elite. 3 years on I have played an integral role in the startup and development of what today is known as TalentScout (Our Recruitment Process Insourcing solution). I have implemented and managed the programs, sold the engagements, recruited, developed and refined the product that is today a market leading world class recruiting solution.
I would like to achieve owning a car long enough to have it paid off, but my love for in particular German automobiles seems to inhibit that. I have enjoyed a very diverse life living in England, Spain and the United States. I have travelled to almost every country I want to travel to, and I have achieved what many people said was impossible – “living to be over 35”.
I am a UEFA certified soccer coach who volunteers hundreds of hours a year. I was lucky enough to get some great memories from playing soccer so am always happy to give back to the future generations. I have served on the Brookfield Soccer Association’s board of directors and numerous sub committees. I am also a founding board member with the Milwaukee Soccer Development Group, a not for profit organization attempting to bridge the society gaps through sport.
I am a Dad to 1 biological and 3 step-children, which basically means I have little to no time to do anything that doesn’t revolve around taking, helping, paying or finding the 4 wonderful little people in my life. I am a dog owner to the little mischief maker “Moe”, our miniature Yorkie. The times I do get set free I like to enjoy the things Milwaukee is famed for.
