I have always had a genuine passion for helping people and always strive to provide the highest quality service. Although, helping people comes second nature to me, what truly makes me “elite” is my sense of curiosity and desire to see things as a part of the bigger picture. Whether that means working with business professionals to uncover hidden problems and solutions or with jobseekers to gain a deeper understanding of what makes them tick, I understand that the work we do truly has the ability to transform the lives of the individuals we work with, the success of our clients, and the community as a whole.
I spent the early part of my career in retail, working my way up to into management before deciding to go back to school to pursue a degree in marketing. I accepted a position with Cielo and quickly discovered that my career path was meant to be in Talent Acquisition. During my time there, I worked as an Interview Specialist and a Talent Acquisition Coordinator on an RPO team that supported a client with a presence in several different markets across the United States. I was eager to accept the VMS Coordinator position with eliteHCG that would allow me to leverage my background and further expand my experience in recruiting, as I help to design a solution tailored to the unique needs of clients that utilize a Vendor Management System as a part of their Talent Acquisition strategy.
I was the recipient of Cielo’s quarterly award for demonstrating the company’s values in my daily work. Earlier in life, I received two scholarships during my senior year of high school—one for being an outstanding member of student council and the second for overcoming adversity. I believe that receiving that scholarship for overcoming adversity not only spoke to my past, but also to my future. Throughout life I’ve always worked to recognize small achievements while focusing on long-term goals.
Honestly, I enjoy being able to work on filling positions that are local! I truly feel that this line of work allows me to give back every day because I’m able to be an advocate for people in the community to find positions that they will enjoy. Outside of work, I enjoy opportunities to volunteer in the local community.
I absolutely love to travel! Some of the best trips I’ve taken have been spontaneous and unplanned. I prefer road trips because, as cliché as it sounds, my favorite part of traveling is the journey, not the destination. While traveling, I like to stop and experience local attractions rather than major tourist attractions. My favorite road trip so far has been to Nashville, although I might be biased because country music is by far my favorite genre. (I also don’t consider Luke Bryan country). When I’m not traveling, I enjoy watching football in the winter and dirt track racing in the summer.
