For starters, it’s hard to find me without a smile on my face. Being challenged on a daily basis is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job and I’m very passionate about making a positive impact in the world and changing people’s lives. My goal is to provide candidates with the best experience possible while fostering healthy relationships with clients in the process. I have a very competitive attitude, always strive to be the best at what I do, and I’m very driven by results.
Prior to entering the world of talent acquisition, my background was in mortgage finance. I took great pride in helping people achieve their dreams of home ownership and assisting others to get out of sticky financial situations. I credit a lot of my skills that I developed while working with homeowners and lenders to the success that I have had in recruiting, leadership and client relationship management.
I honestly feel like my biggest achievements are yet to come. I’m always looking to achieve more tomorrow than I did today and strive to improve myself professionally on a daily basis. I’m very proud of my previous professional accomplishments and the accomplishments of others that I’ve mentored in their career development.
Recently, my wife and I have been involved with an exciting local organization called Teens Grow Greens. We are mentoring young adults learning to garden and also helping to teach life skills, such as how to market themselves to find awesome careers when they enter the workforce. Other organizations that I enjoy volunteering with include Greyhound Pets of America, United Way, Habitat for Humanity and Boys and Girls Club.
Outside of work, I like to stay active by regularly making improvements to my home, going on adventures with my wife and our dog and riding motorcycles both on the street and in the dirt. I also travel quite frequently where I am exploring cities and meeting new people from different areas. I really enjoy the social aspect of networking both personally and professionally and staying in touch with people from all walks of life that I’ve crossed paths with in the past.
