What makes me elite is my will power to achieve a goal regardless the obstacles. I look at a situation from multiple perspectives and use that information to conclude possible solutions, consequences, and goals.
I was a full-time student at UWM who worked multiple part-time jobs. I’ve had days where I would go to school, go to my first job, go to my second job, and then go home and finish my homework. Most of my part-time jobs were definitely no fun and I found myself dreading to go in to work.
I would say that I have been blessed with many personal achievements, but my most memorable achievement is being a first-generation college graduate in my family.
I always remember to show my appreciation for my parents because they were and still are one of my biggest motivators to become successful. Besides giving back to my family, I volunteer my time to my community. In the summer, I enjoy coaching young girls how to play volleyball in a little league. Also, I contribute as much of my free time to helping the children’s ministry at my local church.
I am an explorer who is constantly on an adventure with my sisters and my dog. I enjoy all-day hikes, picnics, camping, and fishing trips. If I am not enjoying the outdoors, then I am probably inside entertaining myself with a good book or movie, napping, or cooking. My overall expectation outside of elite is to enjoy quality time with my friends and family.
