I think what sets me apart from the crowd is my desire to help people and follow through. In my search to become a recruiter I worked with a lot of recruiting agencies and one thing really stuck out to me, the majority of the people I worked with did not follow through with what they said they would whether it was getting feedback from interviews or just follow-up from the initial call. It was at that point that I made up my mind that when I became a recruiter I would do what I say I would do, and I find that this simple approach has helped me find success for not only for myself but also for the people that I work with.
Prior to elite I worked as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Team Lead) for a fortune 100 company. After that I worked for the last three years as an IT recruiter focusing mostly in the Infrastructure side of the IT world.
First person in my immediate family to receive a college degree (AA – Marketing).
I enjoy working with local food banks helping separate incoming food shipments and personal hygiene packages for the local surrounding communities. I also have coached youth sports teams (mainly as an assistant coach). I also like to volunteer at my child’s school for fundraising events and class field trips.
Outside of elite you will find me spending time with my wife and children playing in the yard, watching Wild Kratts or Bubble Guppies. I also am a life long Cubs fan (product of my father being from Illinois) but also love the Packers and Bucks. My other thing I mostly do is watch movies, comedies being the genre of choice.
