What makes me elite is that I work hard to be the best I can be and provide my clients the best service possible while developing relationships with candidates. I love the opportunity to help others and be key to their career success. There is nothing more rewarding than help facilitate success for others. I take pride in what I do which is why when working with each of my clients I try to make sure I do better than my best and exceed their expectations.
After graduating from Alverno College I joined various organizations where I was able to learn various Human Resource/Talent Acquisition functions. All of my previous roles have been HR support related but with additional Recruiter responsibilities. At first I didn’t think this would be what I would be doing, but my passion for helping others and being able to provide them with employment opportunities while guiding them through the process really seemed to fit my personality. When the opportunity arose to join elite Human Capital I knew this would be a great fit and it sure has. I love the people I work with and the culture, we are a family. Elite has something not many organizations have which makes them unique and a great place to work.
One great personal achievement was my involvement with a pilot program helping inner city youth ages 14-21 develop the soft skills to become employable. I worked for a non-profit organization as a consultant where I helped develop a work readiness pilot program for eight community based organizations in Milwaukee. Along with my coworker we would go out to each agency one a month to provide them with workshops on various topics (application process, resume, cover letter, interviews). We had a core group of about 40-50 youth that we worked with and essentially were able to provide them employment through various community partners. This was a personal achievement of mine because it’s something I love to do, help others achieve their goals and see the youth develop as young professionals and achieve their own personal goals.
I’m always giving back and volunteering for various causes around the city of Milwaukee. I’m very active in the Hispanic community volunteering my time with organizations like the American Cancer Society, Mexican Fiesta, Hispanic Scholarship Foundation among others. I’m a great believer in being able to give back and serving as a role model for others to follow.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My greatest hobby is traveling and exploring new cultures. I try to take at least one trip to a different city, state or country every year. I also enjoy doing outdoor activities, such as hiking and kayaking. I’m a soccer fanatic along with my family. We tend to have people over all the time to watch the games.
